Steak Your Support, an annual event held by Brazos Valley Cares, is dedicated to assisting men and women who have served in the U. S. Military. BVC has over $1.5 million in total donations since our inception. We have impacted over 12,000 veterans and family members through the emergency grant program and the organizational grants that support Veteran Service Organizations. By supporting Veteran Service Organizations such as The Elk Institute (an organization dedicated to helping and empowering service members suffering from PTSD), the local chapter of American Legion, TAMU Veteran Resource Center, Aggie Shields, Entrepreneurial Bootcamp for Veterans; we are able to leverage our donors generosity to maximum impact.
